This is the Evaluation Version
In evaluation mode, G-Scoutmate will let you enter in 5 girls/adults. If you've purchased version 7.0, then after you install G-Scoutmate, go to (from the G-Scoutmate main menu) "Help" and "Upgrade to Full" and email the activation code that's displayed to support@kscgroup.com. We'll respond with the upgrade information.

Printing the Instruction Manual
The full instruction manual will be placed in your G-Scoutmate program group.
To access the manual, do the following:

• Click on your Windows "Start" button (in the lower left)
• Click on "Programs" (or "All Programs") and then the "G-Scoutmate" folder
• Click on the "Instruction Manual" icon

It can also be accessed by going to your G-Scoutmate program folder. The file is named gsmanual.pdf.

Current Users of G-Scoutmate version 5.xx or 6.xx
If you currently use G-Scoutmate 5.xx or 6.xx, then you can transfer your data to 7.0. Please note that this will only work for G-Scoutmate v5.23 and higher. If you are using an earlier version (the version number appears on the title screen), then you can download the update from our Software Updates section.

After you install 7.0, the instructions for transferring your data will be in your G-Scoutmate program group. Click on your Windows "Start" button (in the lower left corner of your screen) and "Programs" (or "All Programs") and "G-Scoutmate" and "Transfer Data Instructions". This requires Adobe Acrobat (which is on most machines). If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, then you can download it from http://www.adobe.com. Click on the "Get Adobe Reader" icon.

These tutorials are also included on the G-Scoutmate CD. They will give you a good idea of how G-Scoutmate works, so if you do not want to download the evaluation, you can view the tutorials instead. Note that it may take a few minutes for a tutorial to load (depends on your internet connection speed).

PLEASE NOTE: Tutorials marked with an * are for Scoutmate (our BSA package). The screens are the same as G-Scoutmate, except that you may see Boy Scout information. We'll update these with screens from G-Scoutmate as soon as possible.
